Skin Tag Removal

Skin tags are small, balloon-like growths that may appear on your neck, eyelids, armpits, or elsewhere on your body. They can affect patients of all ages, although they are most common on individuals over age 60. Though harmless, skin tags can affect your appearance. In some cases, they can also cause irritation. Dr. Zweiback can remove these tags with several different techniques. Typically, he will freeze the growths, although he may also recommend manual excision.

Wart Removal

There are several different types of warts. Common skin warts are not serious. However, they are contagious, and they can affect your appearance. Salicylic acid can remove these growths, although it can take time for the treatment to take effect. If you have larger warts, or if you want immediate relief, Dr. Zweiback can use cryotherapy to freeze and remove the growths.

Medical Acne Treatment

Acne is the most common skin condition in the country. It affects children and teens, as well as a growing number of adults. The condition arises when pores become clogged with dead skin cells and oil. Bacteria can then accumulate in these areas, leading to inflammation and redness. Often, over-the-counter skin care products do not sufficiently treat acne. Dr. Zweiback can prescribe medications and medical-grade skin products to clear up your acne and protect your long-term skin health.

Full Body Skin Check

Your annual skin exam is an important way to protect yourself from the dangerous effects of skin cancer. During these appointments, Dr. Zweiback will check your skin to look for suspicious moles or growths. If he notices anything unusual, he will order a biopsy. Although everyone should get routine skin exams, these checkups are especially important if you have a history of cancer or you spend a lot of time outdoors. With early diagnosis, skin cancer patients typically have a good prognosis.

PCA Skin Peel

Common imperfections that affect the skin include fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, uneven pigmentation, acne scars and more. A PCA SkinĀ® peel uses a mild acid solution to remove the top layer of skin and reveal the healthier skin underneath. You can only receive a PCA SkinĀ® peel from a medical professional. The peel can yield dramatic results, yet it requires virtually no downtime.
