For patients who wish to plump up skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, Dr. David Zweiback offers a variety of dermal fillers at his Cherry Hill office, Mullica Hill office, Burlington, Vineland and Hamilton. Dermal fillers are a safe, non-surgical treatment to reduce signs of aging and add volume to sunken cheeks, thin lips, and other areas. During a consultation, Dr. Zweiback can explain the various dermal filler options he offers and help you choose the right one to meet your goals.
Dermal fillers increase skin volume and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
What Are Dermal Fillers?
The dermal fillers offered by Dr. Zweiback contain hyaluronic acid, which occurs naturally in our skin and plays an important role in achieving youthful elasticity and volume. They can:
- Reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles
- Plump the lips
- Fill in the lines from the bottom of the nose to the corners of the lips (nasolabial lines)
- Add volume to the cheeks
- Reduce the appearance of dark under-eye circles
Dermal Filler Options
Dr. Zweiback offers several different options to ensure patients can achieve their desired results:
- BELOTERO BALANCE®, specifically formulated to treat nasolabial folds
- JUVÉDERM®, a solution for thin lips, fine lines, and wrinkles
- JUVÉDERM Voluma® XC, designed to add volume to the cheeks
- Restylane®, Restylane® Lyft, and Restylane® Silk, which treat moderate to severe lines and wrinkles
- Radiesse®, a solution for wrinkles and folds
Am I a Candidate for Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers are a safe, non-invasive treatment. However, they are not recommended for women who are pregnant or nursing. Unlike some fillers that contain bovine collagen, which can cause an allergic reaction in some patients, Dr. Zweiback only uses fillers that contain hyaluronic acid, which is less likely to cause an allergic reaction. Patients with acne or other skin conditions may require an alternative treatment.

What Can I Expect from a Dermal Filler Treatment?
Prior to treatment, each of our patients meets with Dr. Zweiback to determine their candidacy, and to determine the areas that will be treated. Together you will choose the filler that meets your needs. Dermal filler injections are performed in our office. Most fillers contain a small amount of anesthetic to reduce discomfort. Additional anesthetic may be applied to the lip area.
Following your treatment, you will experience some swelling, redness, and bruising for two to five days. You may reapply your makeup immediately following your treatment. You will typically return to our office in about two weeks so that we can evaluate your results. It is important to remember that dermal fillers are a long-lasting, but temporary treatment. Certain fillers last just four to six months, whereas others can last a year or more. You will typically require one to two maintenance treatments each year following your initial treatment.
